Matt Weber

Matt Weber is a Harvard-educated humorist and author of “Fearing the Stigmata” and the Christopher Award-winning book “Operating on Faith.” Matt is a national speaker, producer, writer and former host of the weekly CatholicTV show “The Lens,” a humorous recap of digital trends, culture and news in the faith community, earning him an Emmy Award for best Commentator/Editorialist from the Boston – New England chapter. His work has been featured in The New York Times, SXSWedu and on CBS News, which referred to Matt as “the voice of a new generation of Catholics.”

Matt received his doctorate in education from UVA’s School of Education and Human Development, where he’s a member of the Raven Society. He has a master of education from Harvard, a master of arts degree from Boston College, and a bachelor’s degree from Providence College. He plays the harmonica, loves his family, and has three small children, all in various stages of harmonica playing. When not changing diapers, Matt’s day job is serving as senior advisor to the President and Chief Creative Officer at the University of Virginia.
