Reverend Elmer Zavala is the pastor at Preston Highway Hispanic Presbyterian Ministries in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally from Honduras, he became a minister to support others in the immigrant community in need. In addition to his work in the Presbyterian Ministries, Elmer is also co-founder of La Minga, a community farm in Prospect, Kentucky. Elmer will be joined at the festival by his interpreter and wife of 27 years, Ellen Sherby.
